Centennial Celebration & Historic Home Tour

March 2nd was certainly a day to remember thanks to the SPPNA Events Committee who worked for many months to organize this affair and to all the dedicated member residents for volunteering their invaluable time! And a special thanks to our neighbors who graciously opened their historic homes for viewing.
Our Centennial Celebration and Historic Home Tour was the result of a wonderful collaboration that made our neighborhood truly shine.
454 people including residents and local neighbors attended SPPNA’s Centennial Historic Home Tour.
- Eight 100-year old historic homes were offered for viewing.
- Our docents from the Sarasota Alliance for Historic Preservation discussed each home’s unique architecture and history.
- A bonus was chatting with the owners of Model As & Ts from the 1920s and 30s who joined us from the Sara-Mana Model A Ford Club.
Additionally, we wish to thank our many local BUSINESS SPONSORS that helped make this event such a success and ask our residents to consider supporting them on an ongoing basis.
